Daniel Toshevski

My name is Daniel Toshevski, I was born on January 10, 1985 in Skopje. Since childhood, I have had a desire to work in the media, so when I was 10 years old I started working in radio. I worked in several radio stations in Skopje until I was sixteen, when I temporarily stopped my hosting career, but I never gave up on that profession, so after a break of 17 years, in September 2019 I started a show on Star Radio again.

I am a musician theorist by profession, having graduated from the Ilija Nikolovski Luj Secondary Music School in Skopje, teaching and theory department. Today I am professionally involved in music as an interpreter of Macedonian folk songs. I have recorded both new ones and sung old Macedonian folk songs.

I have won awards at festivals for people with special needs several times, including the one at the Pirin Folk Festival held in Sandanski, neighboring Bulgaria, where I won the special award for best interpretation according to the municipality of Sandanski. I love helping people, so I have participated in many charity concerts and I will continue to sing and support charity events only if the funds go to the right place.

Being blind since birth has never stopped me from doing what I love, I can even proudly say that I don’t even feel like a disabled person at all. I am always in a good mood and open to communication with all well-intentioned people. I respect the team that works with me, as well as my listeners.
